American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA)

Montana's Department of Labor & Industry is working with our partners across state government to implement the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA), federal legislation passed by Congress in March of 2021 that provides funding for states to respond to the COVID-19 emergency and bring back jobs.

The Department of Labor & Industry recently received approval from the Economic Transformation and Stabilization and Workforce Development Programs and Advisory Commission to offer $1,200 bonuses to eligible individuals who leave Montana's unemployment insurance rolls, re-enter the labor force by taking a job, and working at least four consecutive weeks.
