The Equal Pay for Equal Work Task Force will convene at the University
of Montana University Center on Wednesday, June 29th, 2016, to continue
its work to close Montana’s wage gap. Governor Steve Bullock established
the Equal Pay for Equal Work Task Force in 2013 to gather information,
furnish advice and provide the Governor recommendations on policies and
actions to ensure that Montana workers earn equal pay for equal work,
regardless of gender.
Co-Chaired by Pam Bucy, Commissioner of the Montana Department of Labor
& Industry, and Sheila Hogan, Director of the Department of
Administration, the Equal Pay for Equal Work Task Force includes 14
community members representing a variety of private and public sectors
from throughout Montana.
This meeting is open to the public, and the agenda will include an opportunity for the public to provide input at 2:30 p.m.
